Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 pm where Catholic Funeral Rites will be conducted on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10:00 am with Father Casey Mahone presiding. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Charlotte Christine Linville, 86, of Clarksburg, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on
Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV with her family by her
side.

She was born September 28, 1938, a daughter of the late Charles and Helen (Peasak) Kontak.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Barbara Bobet of
Clarksburg, WV and her beloved son, Robert (Robbie) Linville of Shinnston, WV.

Charlotte is survived by her 2 daughters, Barbara (Pierre) LeBel of Lake Floyd, WV and Cathy (Eugene) Oliver of Monks Corner, SC; one niece, Marci Dietrich of Fairfax Station, VA; five grandchildren, Megan (Justin) Payez, H.D Spurlock, Kaci (Brandon) Richards, Tyler Linville and Christine (Turner) Brogdon; 11 great-grandchildren, Austin, Lily, Savannah, Madyson and Carter Payez, Arabella Hamrick, Roman and Beau Richards, Kennedy Linville, Brinson and William Brogdon; and two great-nephews, Luke and Nate Dietrich.

Charlotte was a graduate of Victory High School class of 1956 and a member of the
Immaculate Conception Church. She worked as a teacher’s aide for the Harrison County school system for approximately 35 years.

Charlotte was a beloved member of her Summit Park community and will be remembered for her warmth, strength and quiet grace. She loved to go on outings to have her nails done and have lunch dates with her friends, daughters and (great)grandchildren as recent as less than a week before her passing. Her presence touched the lives of many, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
