Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend George Bramble presiding. Honoring Christina’s wishes, she will be cremated following the service.

Christina Hester Landis Rinehart, 89, of Mt. Clare, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at the United Hospital Center, surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born in Upshur County, WV, on July 21, 1936, a daughter of the late Harlen Lloyd and Luna Lovere Brady Landis.
Christina is survived by one son, Ricky Greynolds and wife Julie of Mt. Clare; four daughters, Chandra Harper and husband Roger of Lost Creek, Norine Waugaman and husband Randy of Good Hope, Cheryl White and husband Kevin of Lost Creek, and Melody Mullins and husband Jerry of Lost Creek; ten grandchildren, Christina “Tina” Pettus and husband Jason of OK, Jeremy Scheuvront and wife Kassey of Lost Creek, Erik Scheuvront and wife Ashley of Mt. Clare, Roger Harper and wife Letetia of Philippi, Scott Waugaman and wife Kate of Ohio, Heather Quickle and husband Curt of Clarksburg, Gary Pursley and wife Becky of ND, Eric Pursley and wife Rebecca of NC, Lydia White and fiancé Christian of Clarksburg, Kevin Greynolds and wife Alicia of TX; numerous great grandchildren as well as several great great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Mona Hertz of Clarksburg, and niece, Stephanie Mazzie.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kimberly Lovere Martin.
Christina was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School Class of 1953 and a homemaker. She was a lifetime member of the Quiet Dell United Methodist Church. She loved gardening, growing flowers, and cooking. Above all, her family was the number one priority.
