His wishes were to be cremated and a celebration of life to be held in his honor. The celebration of life will be held on July 19, 2025 at the Morrison Riverbank Pavilion from 2pm – 6pm.

Daniel Williams Morrison Jr “Danny”, 86, of West Milford, passed away Friday, July 4th, 2025 at his residence surrounded by loved ones.

Danny was born on February 18, 1939, a son of the late Daniel Williams Morrison and Edith Cummings Morrison.

Surviving is one brother Jim Morrison and wife Paula of Lake City, FL; Sister in law Dianna Morrison of West Milford; three nieces Jody Morrison of West Milford, Denise Morrison – Fletcher (Brad) of Fairmont and Deena Morrison – Fernandez (Randy) of West Milford; four nephews Andy Morrison (Rachel) of West Milford, Patrick Morrison (Carla) of West Milford, Brock Morrison (Crystal) of Washington, OR and Jimmy Morrison (Leah) of Lake City, FL: along with several cousins, great nieces and nephews.

Danny was proceeded in death by two of his brothers John W Morrison and George “Butch” Morrison and wife Becky Morrison, one infant sister and great nephew Cody Morrison.

Danny was a proud United States Army Veteran who served in combat in the Vietnam war. He retired from UPS in MA and Pratt and Whitney in WV where he was an aviation mechanic. He enjoyed racing and was an avid dog lover. Danny was an expert tinkerer and was always taking on new projects in the garage. He never passed up an opportunity to tell a good story or joke. His humor and wittiness will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
