Tammy, I was really saddened to hear about David's death. I haven't seen him since the class reunion before the last one, but I always ask Bill Yoke and Richard Iaquinta about him. He was a great friend and good teammate when we were in high school. Please know that I am thinking about you. "Bear"

Tammy, prayers for you and your family. I knew David at WI. We followed the same path. Veterans in the Air Force and degrees in accounting. Pam and you were best of friends at St. Mary’s School of nursing. I pray that you will be blessed and comforted in this time of grieving.

I grew up with Dave in Clarksburg, WV. We both lived in the wonderful neighborhood of Chestnut Hills. Dave and I spent quality time together particularly in the summers. I consider him a great friend. After high school we went out own ways. However, I won’t forget the good times we had together. God bless you Tammy and your family, Joe Van Voorhis

Upon hearing of Dave’s death, I became very sad and was shocked to be honest. Dave and I grew up in Chestnut Hills and, along with many other friends in the neighborhood, spent countless hours playing sports. Dave was always the “big guy” who could hit a baseball farther than any of us. In more recent years, on one of my visits back home, Dave and I spent an afternoon driving around Clarksburg and just reminiscing about old times. We finished up at Ritzy Lunch, which someone mentioned was one of his favorite places in town. Dave will always be remembered as a trusted friend.

Tammy, It’s really hard getting older ! I’m so sorry Dave has moved on. We went back a long way, mostly with you, Dave, WI, Rick, and your Mom, Sue ! Sue was the ultimate provider ! I remember my brother and Joyce, I thought that was a great match, but it meant staying in Clarksburg and Allan had a different plan. And Nancy was a sweetheart from my days (1 summer of state road work) ! I should have stayed in Clarksburg !! I still have questions about Rick, but we’ll be together again in due time. It seems friends are leaving all around us, but by the grace of Jesus, we’re left to pick up the pieces! Dave was a giant of a man for me! I envied him, marrying you and staying home ! Rest in peace Dave and you too Tammy. We had many good times !!

We will always remember the long hours of work but really fun times also at the Stealey pool. Cannot remember the times without Dave, Tammy and the Griffith children being a part of those memories. Tammy, to you and your children, our deepest and heartfelt condolences. Barbara and Jim

So Sorry to hear of David's passing. I worked for many years for him at Union National/Bank One/Chase. He was a good Boss and everyone liked him. I have never forgot how much he liked Ritzy Hotdogs and often would buy them for the employees. Prayers for his Wife, Family and Friends. God Bless you all.
