Garry Clyde Griffith, age 80, passed away on October 21, 2025, in Clarksburg, WV.

Garry was born on March 2, 1945, in Clarksburg, WV, to Earie and Sylvia Griffith.

He attended Victory High School and began working at Continental Can in 1964, where he met his future wife, Margaret Rose Mancini. The two were married on May 14, 1969, and together they had two children: Gary Curtis Griffith, born May 5, 1970, and Teresa Kay Griffith, born September 6, 1973.

In 1987, Garry began working at Cross’s Antique Shop and ran a lawn care business until his retirement in 1999. Garry was an avid enthusiast of darts, cornhole, and horseshoes. He was especially skilled in pitching horseshoes, winning several tournaments and championships throughout his life. When he wasn’t pitching horseshoes, Garry could be found cheering on his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers, a team he passionately supported and never missed a game.

Garry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rose, and his daughter, Teresa.

He is survived by his son, Gary Curtis Griffith, and his grandchildren, Curtis Lee Griffith, Brooke Eden Lindsey, and Christopher Paul Griffith.

Garry never met a soul he wouldn’t talk to, and the connection he shared with people made his passion for life clear to everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

A graveside inurnment service will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 10:00 am at the Stonewall Park Cemetery.
