Burial Date February 17, 2025

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where a prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm to conclude the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday. February 17, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant. Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Humane Society of Harrison County, 2450 Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV 26431.

I am very sorry to hear of Johns passing. I spoke with him a lot when the second bridge was built at the VA park over 10 years ago. John was always friendly, and I appreciated his input. Prayers to his family.

Mary and family, I am so sorry to hear about John. I enjoyed getting to know him and all of you the short time he was at Clarksburg. Even though he wasn't feeling the best he always put a smile on all of our faces. You could tell he was a special man and loved by many. He loved you all so much! Very sorry to hear of the passing of John. I have many great memories of having the opportunity to work with John at the Clarksburg AMP. He was always a wonderful guy to work with. I consider it an honor to have had the chance to know him. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace COOP!

Mary and family, I am so sorry to hear about John (Cooper). In the short amount of time that we had him at Clarksburg we all fell in love with him and your family! He always a had a smile on his face. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so glad that we got to meet. He definitely was so proud of his family and you could see the love there!
