Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison St, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 11:00 am with Pastor Phil Nestor and Rev. James E. Johnson presiding. Interment will follow in the Mount Morris Cemetery, Barbour County.

As a humble loving servant of the Most High our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, a mother, sister, friend, daughter, wife whose spirit was one of caring, never a harsh word left this old world behind to live in God’s eternal Heavenly home forever and ever.
Margaret Elizabeth Richman, 94, of Grafton, WV, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at the Taylor County Heath Care Center following an extended illness.
She was born in the small coal-mining town of Kingston, WV on December 23, 1930, a daughter of the late Howard Ray and Lucille Ferna Scott Wriston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Andrew Richman, who passed away on January 13, 1993.
Surviving Margaret are three sons, Jay Richman, Jerry Richman (Carmen), and John Richman; three daughters, Helen Butt, Bonnie Gower (Doug), and Jane Haddix (Keith); nine grandchildren, Joey, Crystal, Kim, J.R., Brandie, Candie, Steven, Bobbie Jo, and Jake; one sister, Mary Jane Morris; one brother, Hank Wriston (Evelyn); as well as numerous great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and John Wriston; and two half-siblings, Howard Ray Wriston and Helen Ward.
Margaret was a graduate of Jane Lew High School. While married, she cared for the home and her children. She worked at Jacksons Mill, the Stagecoach Restaurant, and volunteered at the Grafton City Hospital auxiliary. She had a caring and compassionate heart. She sat and cared for the elderly and babysat children over the years. Margaret was a devout Christian and viewed the Maple Run Church as her home church.
