Joe (and the rest of the Fidler family). So very sorry we couldn't be with you today to celebrate Nancy. Time, weather, and work kept us in Michigan. I think back to times so fondly when you were "home on leave" and then later when we got to see the both of you at family reunions at the Farm. And most recently when Nancy gave me a painting on slate of a Robin that is hanging on my office wall. She gifted us this piece during a visit to your home. As Aunt Audrey always said "growing old isn't for sissies," and this is one of those time her adage holds so true. Best to all of you as you navigate these times. You are certainly in our thoughts.

Nancy, your were my mother in-law, my 2nd mother for the last 37 years, and a wonderful grandmother to our two girls. You welcomed me into the family and taught me so many things over the years. Your love of all things related to cooking and baking, crafts of all sorts, crocheting and working with your hands. You gave me heirloom plants handed down from your mother that I keep growing and handing down to my girls. You taught my girls all about the things you loved in life, like growing flowers, gardening, making candy, decorating for the holidays and preserving precious family memories to name a few. We will miss your humor, your robust laugh, quick wit and zest for life. You will live on in our memories forever and always, preserved just the way you taught us to value people and not things. We are so thankful for the memories.
