Nemer Edward Ayoob, age 67, of Salem, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025. Born on July 12, 1957, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Nemer was the beloved son of the late John Ayoob and Josephine Kitzmiller.

Nemer is survived by his devoted wife, Nancy Ayoob, and their son, Jonathan Ayoob, who is married to Carrie. He took great joy in being a grandfather to his three granddaughters, Lillian, Molly, and Lydia, who brought immense happiness to his life. Nemer is also survived by his siblings: Steve Ayoob and his wife Stephanie, Brenda Ayoob, Elaine Williams, and Danny Ayoob and his wife Joyce. He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Ayoob. Nemer also had many nieces and nephews.

A proud graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School, Class of 1975, Nemer dedicated his career to working as a Maintenance Electrician at AFG Glass, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. He also served in the United States Air Force.

Outside of work, Nemer found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a passion for gardening, nurturing plants with the same care and dedication he showed to his family. He loved taking trips to the mountains, where he found peace and tranquility in nature. A true sports enthusiast, Nemer was an avid fan of the West Virginia Mountaineers, often cheering them on with unwavering loyalty.

In accordance with his wishes, a private gathering for immediate family will be held to celebrate Nemer’s life and legacy.

Nemer Edward Ayoob will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
