She was employed at St. Mary’s Hospital in the 1960’s and then at UHC, Inc. where she retired in 1986 after 26 years of service. During her employment she worked first in the cafeteria at St. Mary’s and then she moved to Central Supply for the remainder of her employment.

She lived on Pleasant Hill in Shinnston for most of her life. In 2011, she came to live with her granddaughter Kelly in Lumberport. The last 14 years have been filled with love and family. Opal will be sadly missed by those who love her and we will be looking forward to the next time we meet at God’s great table in heaven.
