Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Wednesday. February 4, 2026 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A private funeral service will be held by the family at a later time. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Postle will be cremated following the service and inurnment will take please in the Wallace Lions Club Cemetery at a later date.

Ronald Eugene Postle, 74, of Clarksburg passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
He was born in Moundsville on November 28, 1951, a son of the late Ronald E. Postle, Jr. and Grace Jarvis Postle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Darlene Postle in 1999.
He is also survived by two sons, Mark Postle and his wife Candice of Clarksburg and William Arden Postle of Marietta, OH; six grandchildren, Tyler Postle, Sabin Postle, Mischa Matheny, Lindan Postle, Mikayla Postle and Christopher Postle; two brothers, Mike Postle and his wife Iva of Fairmont and Lewis Postle of Ohio; three sisters, Nila-Joy Fritzman of Kentucky, Karla Jo Conley of Ohio and Karen Tiano-Allmond of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Postle was a coal miner at Robinson Run Coal Mine where he retired with over 30 years of service.
Ron loved music, going to church, was a talented leather worker, and always kept in touch with his coworkers from the coal mine, whom he considered great friends. He was an avid outdoorsman, having spent many years hunting, fishing, and camping with his sons and grandsons.
He loved animals, a good old-fashioned home cooked meal, and Ron never met a stranger.
He will be missed by those who truly knew and loved him.
