Aunt Shirley was the dearest most loving and sacrificial woman. She faced many hard challenges in her life. Always, always with grace and kindness and selflessness. She loved with her whole heart. She was quiet spoken, always smiling and always esteeming others more than herself. She had the sweetest most gentle and gracious spirit and was a trusted confidante for me in my younger years. To know Aunt Shirley was to love her. No smile quite like hers for warming every heart that was a blessed recipient of that smile. I imagine her and dad embracing yesterday in heaven. He would have smiled and said “Hi there, Sis.” Forever loved.

Nina, Vicki, and family, My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Everett (as I call) will be missed! She has brought such joy and smiles to all of us. Countless laughs and deep meaningful conversations. She is without pain and able to move, what we all would do to see that. Thank you for allowing us to care for her. Everett Rest In Peace and your story is still not over as we all have learned something from you. Even if that is not complaining when we are in pain, cause you didn’t, or the smile that you always had for us. You all truly impacted us! Love, Christy -CNA
