Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024 at 10:00 am with Reverend Terry Wilson officiating. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. May will be cremated following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Nutter Fort Union Mission Church, P. O. Box 8102, Nutter Fort, WV 26301 or to the Shinnston American Legion Post 0031, 76 Bridge Shinnston, WV 26431.

Judy, Melisa, Chris and Angie, Maria and family, Praying for God to provide peace to you as you remember the special times shared with Walter. I will remember him as funny and loveable. I think about Walter and Judy loading us kids up in the blue Chevy truck with all of the food Judy made for a pool party with your Aunt Sue and Uncle Marvin. Good memories: Skating in the basement, Walter hitting golf balls, Chris blowing up Walter's new raft and taking us on a floating trip down the river. Everyone will be missing Walter and remembering his fun personality and smile. Thinking of you all.
