Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm.   Funeral services will be held Monday, May 16, 2016 at 10:00 am with Pastor Charles Madaus officiating.   Interment will be in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Cecelia (Sissy)Frances DeFazio Lattea

 

Sis left this earth peacefully on May 11, 2016 surrounded by family at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.  She was born on May 9,1943 in Harrison County, the oldest daughter of Francisco(Frank)and Ruth Hornsby DeFazio.  Her husband Harold preceded her in death in 1995.  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Bailey and Deanna(Dee)Davis; a grandson Philip Stewart.; and son-in-law Clyde Horn.

 

She is lovingly survived by five daughters. Tonya(Jeff)Stewart, Shari DiPasquale, Donna (Virgil) Gulley, Leanna (Kay)Horn, Julie (Terry) Wiggs, all from Harrison County, WV.  Eight grandchildren, Jeff and Lorrie Stewart, Megan and Mark Allen, Morgan Gulley, Tony and Aaryka Lattea, Mandy and Sean Swiger, Josh Wiggs, Jessica Wiggs,Jeremy Wiggs.Eleven great grandchildren. Lucie,Maisie,Wayne,Anderson Stewart, Aryanna Lattea, Kira,Kylee Swiger, Jacob Wiggs, Josiah, Elijah Coen, and Miciah Wiggs.

 

She has worked at several restaurants in the area including Manhattan, Oliverio’s, and Country Kitchen. She never knew a stranger. Her witty remarks and phrases will always be remembered.  She enjoyed family dinners and looked forward to attending the family reunion every year.  She will forever be missed by all her family and close friends.
