Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation with Father Walt Jagela presiding. In keeping with her wishes, Deborah will be cremated following the service.

Deborah Kay Loretta Post, 78, of Clarksburg passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born in Kenova, WV on August 1, 1947, a daughter of the late Anthony “Babe” and Rosalie Margerite Duarte Loretta.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, John Batcheller, and also her second husband, James Post.
Surviving are two sons, John Brian Batcheller and his wife Tiffany of Clarksburg and James Adam Post of Clarksburg; one daughter, Melissa Ann Hurley and her husband Jason of Myrtle Beach, SC; five grandchildren, John Grayson Batcheller, Lucas Paul Batcheller, Garret Rylon Post, Liam Wyatt Post and Jason Kaleb Hurley; one sister, Kimberly Moneypenny; her former daughter-in-law, Amber Heater; and her beloved dog Sadie.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Richard Laurie.
Deborah was previously the owner of Carapan Urban Spa & Store and was a retired X-Ray Technician at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center. She was Catholic by faith.
Deborah loved her grandchildren, her family and her home.
