Sarge is what I called him. He was my platoon Sargent when I was at Fort Bragg with the 82nd Airborne. He got me out trouble a lot of times. I used to work on his truck with him all the time. That guy could fight and tear a bar up. He was so much fun to hang out with and work with in the Motor pool and wrecker operator...Diane, I never met you, but he talked about you all the time... He would crank up the radio every time they played the song 'Jack and Diane' and say " I'm going to marry her someday" sounds like he did...I am so sad, but glad to have known him and jump with him with or silk chutes.

I am so sorry for your tremendous loss.Jack and my brother Charles David McDaniel were high school friends at WI. They were stationed at Fort Bragg at the same time. Jack brought Charlie paratrooper angel wings To The VA when he passed. He also did some tree trimming for my parents. My deepest condolences to his family. Donna Moore

To Jack's Family. He was a constant friend and supportive nurse. I spent enough time on the 5th and 6th floors to spend time with him and share many military and civilian stories. The world is decreased by a great man and a brother.

It was a Honor and Privilidge to work with Jack and to just know him..I first got to no him when I was working for Jan-Care I had to do a run to Pittsburgh VA with a patient and Jack went with us, He told his stories all the way up and all the way back .we laughed almost the whole time. he made the trip so much fun, and then I had the privilege to work with him at the VA for the last 6yrs...I started calling him Cracker Jack he laughed the first time I did..and it kinda stuck ..lol.. THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS FOR HIS FAMILY, HE WAS A GREAT GUY, RIP Cracker Jack
