We met Roger while I was in the USAF in 1970. He has been our best friend all these years. We plan on seeing him and Marty again. Their love is greatly missed. George and Mae Ash.

Roger was a dedicated presence at the Clarksburg Veterans Table distributions and never missed a month since June 2018. He consistently arrived before sunrise, ensuring efficient and safe distributions from the start. He will be dearly missed by all! He spoke fondly of his great nieces and loved his family deeply. He was a wonderful man, and I am grateful to have known him.

I worked with Roger at UHC for 30 years, trained under him as a student in X-ray. Great work ethic and moreover, a good man. Rest easy now Roger. May God comfort your family during this season of loss and grief. Jo Morris

Roger and I were friends growing up on Powell Ave from the first grade at Norwood Elementary School through high school at Rosevelt Wilson and since stayed in touch meeting when we could to talk about "the good ole days". Roger had no enemies and was pleasant and open to everyone. Roger will be missed by all who knew him and the world is less bright with his passing.

The R-W Class of 1965 will miss you tremendously at our breakfast get together. Loved to listen to your Viet Nam stories about your dogs. You were a good soul and a terrific friend. Love and prayers to your family. RIP

I was the flower girl for Uncle Roger and Aunt Marty's wedding. Uncle Roger would occasionally tell the story about my mom calling him, and I was in tears saying, "they aren't going to let me be in the wedding now". Why? First, I cut my own hair and then I broke my arm. Didn't matter they still wanted me to hold that honor. He was also my workout motivator. We traded our daily workout info, and there were times he managed to burn more calories than me. We also both proudly served in the US Air Force as police. Kevin and I will miss you, but this is not goodbye, just see you soon. Love you!
