I have fond memories of summer visits to West Virginia as a child. If I look at a picture of the farm, sights, sounds, and smells come flooding back! Katie was always a big part of those family visits. She always found the time to make each person feel special. My mind always goes back to a time I helped her do dishes after a family meal one evening. She didn’t rush through the task. We just talked and enjoyed a few simple moments together, yet it stuck with me all these years. Years later, after seeing her at a reunion, she still had that special way of taking a few private moments to visit with each person individually. Katie was patient and truly interested in what you had to say. Fondly, Elaine

Where do I even begin. I love this lady. I took care of Katie for a very long time at Bridgeport Health Care Center. She was my girl. I would always go above and beyond for her. She always ask me. Why do you take such great care of me. Katie had a special place in my heart. She is truly going to be missed by many. Sending prayers to the family. I love Katie Caroli. Love always, Sherry
