Prayers and love to you Carlos (family) and Asa your mom was one special crazy lady I had so many great memories with!! From day one she was amazing invited me into her home to live with all of you no questions asked, I fell in love with your Grandmother and Imogene you boys were so sweet and polite, she took me to church with her and that was so amazing I never felt the presence of God as strongly as I did that day...Irene was selfless and all loving, she was crazy about her children and always did her best to show love...I'm going to miss her so very much. Stay strong remember her love and compassion and always know she is with you ❤️

The Davis Family extends our deepest condolences to Irene’s family and friends. We have such fond memories of Irene during our time shared together at Allen Chapel AME Church in Clarksburg. As the choir director, Irene’s dynamic personality, energy, musical talents and rapport with the youth was an absolute blessing to the church and community. Rest in peace our dear Irene 🙏🏾❤️

I have great memories of Irene as our choir director at Allen Chapel AME Church under Reverend Emma Keys. I always had a sense of peace and joy whenever Irene was around. I remember her having to give us 'spirited' instruction from time to time. On how to conduct ourselves in the choir stand. I don't know how she put up with us. Overall, it was a good experience. Mostly because of her. After I graduated from the choir she played and sang at my wedding 48 years ago. Throughout this time, I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've seen Irene. But every time I saw her, it was the same. I still had the feeling of peace and joy. I don’t know if I ever told her how precious her singing at my wedding was.And it contributed to that being one of the happiest days of my life. I'm sorry she had to leave us. I am continuing to pray for the rest of her friends and family. Praying that you all have the peace and joy I had from Irene with GOD and one another

I am sorry to hear that your mother has passed away. I will not be able to attend the visitation or services due to my physical limitations, but I will be thinking of you and your family. I still have your picture on the shelf in the bookcase beside my three "boys". I think of you often and wish you well. Love, Dottie Rinehart
