Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Monday from 3-7 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at 11 a.m. with Father Walt Jagela presiding. Interment will be in the Bridgeport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Humane Society, 2450 Saltwell Rd. Shinnston, WV 26431.

I have know Matt for 20 years , we both worked for Bombardier even though I was in Tucson and he was in WVAC he would come out to Tucson to help us we also worked together help setting up Macon. We would converse over the phone and email he had a wealth of knowledge.Matt was a very mello person and a very dedicated worker. He will surely be missed.

My prayers and condolences go out to Kelly, the boys and family. Matt was a good man in all ways. My heart breaks for all of you. Although I know he is safe with our father, I know he will be missed terribly 😢
