| Alvy Lewis Price, Jr., 79, of Fairmont, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center.
He was born in Weston, West Virginia, on August 27, 1938, a son of the late Alvy Lewis and Ocie Ware Price.
Surviving are his wife and best friend, Pina Price; two sons, Richard Price and his wife Bobbie Jo of Fairmont, and Jeffrey Price of Tampa, FL; two daughters, Debbie Queen and her husband Bob of Ruther Glenn, VA, Michelle Price Massingale Dressler and her husband Brett of Charlotte, NC; six grandchildren, Amanda, Jenna, Jeffrey, Gabriel, Eliana and Scarlett; one sister, Patty Bush and her husband Jack of Jane Lew; two nieces Tammy and Terry Ryan; and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Price was a United States Marine Veteran and received his Bachelor of Arts from Salem College in West Virginia. He was a retired Independent Insurance Adjuster with Frontier Adjusters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the WV National Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded.
