Anna J. Halstead, 92, of Bridgeport, WV, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, in the United Hospital Center.
She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on March 10, 1928, a daughter of the late Ola and Anna Soloman Thomas.
She was married to Raymond Halstead who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Halstead is survived by one brother, Isaac Thomas of Bridgeport; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Halstead was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Davis; and five brothers, Charles Thomas, Louis Thomas, Samuel Thomas, Anthony Thomas, and Thomas Thomas.
Mrs. Halstead was a retired restaurant owner. She was a member of the East View Senior Citizens and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Halstead will be cremated. Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
