Obituaries

Aretta Lou Paugh, 79, of Suds Run Road, Mt. Clare, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 5, 2016 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Mt. Clare on September 4, 1936, a daughter of the late
Frank and Flora Dodd Hardman.  She was married to Paul Edward Paugh on October 12, 1960, who preceded her in death on July 19, 2013.

Surviving are one son, Dwayne Paugh and his wife Stephanie of Warrenton, VA; two grandchildren, Morgan and Kayla Paugh; one brother, Richard Hardman of Mt. Clare; one sister, Marie Dussart of West Milford; several nieces and nephews, and Nancy Henderson, whom they considered to be the daughter they never had.  She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael David Hardman and Bill Hardman.

Mrs. Paugh was a retired Department Supervisor with American Medical Laboratories, Inc. with 20 years of service, and was Methodist by faith.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held Monday, May 9, 2016 at 10:00 am with Delbert Arbogast officiating.  Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Harrison County Humane Society, 2450 Saltwell Road, Shinnston, WV  26431.
