Barry Paul Nutt was born October 18, 1961 in Crowley, Louisiana. He was currently a resident of Clarksburg, WV and passed away on May 22, 2020 at the age of 58.

He was employed by Baker Hughes as the North America – North East Account Manager in Canonsburg, PA.

Barry attended St. Michael Elementary and Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish graduating in 1980. He also attended Southwest Vocational Technical College obtaining a degree in drafting. Throughout his youth, he was an avid baseball player. As an adult he continued to stay active playing tennis and racquet ball with whomever he could round up for a match. Around the house, he always had a project or some sort of remodel that needed to be done and he was a perfectionist when it came to his handy work.

Barry will always be remembered for his easy going spirit and zest for life; as it was contagious. No matter where he traveled for work, he never met a stranger. Barry had a natural talent for interacting and talking with people like no other. That talent along with his enthusiasm and drive made him excel in his career. The one thing that he was most proud of was his family. He enjoyed grilling on his back deck being surrounded by the ones he loved.

Barry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Jennifer Decoux Nutt and their son Peyton and his wife Sarah Simar Nutt and his beloved 4 legged friend “Chubba” all residing in Clarksburg, WV. His parents, Kenneth and Dolores Nutt, two sisters; Deborah Nutt Whiting and Connie Nutt all of Crowley, La. and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Clyde Leblanc of Crowley, Edesse L. Broussard and her husband Isaac Broussard of New Iberia and his paternal grandparents; Earl and Ethel Nutt of Montgomery La and one niece Allison M. Whiting

In keeping with his wished, Mr. Nutt was cremated. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
