Betty Lee Snyder, 91, of Lost Creek, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at her residence.
She was born in West Milford on December 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Albert Franklin and Rosa B. Rice Ross.
Betty was married to A. Garrett Snyder on February 15, 1947, who preceded her in death on October 16, 2007.
Surviving are two sons, Arnett Ray Snyder and Randy Garret Snyder; six grandchildren, Whitney, Logan, Ethan and Hannah Snyder, Jeffrey Renner, and Brandy Romine Spry; three great grandchildren; Tristan Renner, and Cohen and Balen Spry; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Romine and Betsy Snyder; four brothers, Lawrence, Robert, Archie and Frank Ross; and three sisters, Pauline Ross, Bernice Ross, and Geraldine Morrison.
Betty was a member of the West Milford Homemakers and the West Milford United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the church choir and taught Sunday school.
In keeping with Betty’s wishes, private services were held.
