Family and Friends may call to the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Monday, November 13, 2017, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm.   Mrs. Ward will be taken to Horizons Church of Lost Creek, CR-25, Lost Creek, WV 26385, to lie in state for one hour prior to the service, which will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 11:00am, with Pastor Steve Felder officiating   In keeping with her wishes, Mrs. Ward will be cremated following the funeral service.

Bridgette A. Gordon Ward, 69, of Lost Creek, WV, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 10, 2017 at the United Hospital Center.

 

Mrs. Ward was born on February 28, 1948, a daughter of the late William Thomas Mullooly and Charm Hupp Watson.

 

She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Richard Ward, whom she married on November 5, 1999.

 

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Mary Bork and her husband Michael of Mt. Clare, and Verr Hinkle of Buckhannon; one brother, William “Bill” Mullooly and his wife Karen of Nutter Fort; one brother-in-law Kevin Marion of Jane Lew; eight nieces and nephews, Tammy Martin and her husband Scott, Shawn Bork, Veronica Pinch and her husband Mark, Erica Nolan and her husband Todd, Josh Hinkle and his wife Sabrina, Erin Oleksa and her husband Cory, Chad Mullooly, and Ashley Cutlip and her husband Chris; several great nieces and nephews; and her longtime second family, Chris and Sharon Talbott, and their children, Justin, Megan, and Ben

 

Along with her parents, Mrs. Ward was preceded in death by one sister, Annette Marion; and one brother-in-law, John Hinkle.

 

Mrs. Ward was a member of Horizons Church in Lost Creek, WV, and was a member of the Steel Magnolias Women’s Group. Bridgette Ann was deeply devoted to her family and friends. She loved all animals, spending time on the lake, and especially enjoyed horseback riding.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Clarksburg Mission at 312 N 4th St, Clarksburg, WV 26301, and One King Sports at Horizons Church at CR-25, Lost Creek, WV 26385.
