Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 am with his grandson, Richard Morrison officiating.   In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Morrison will be cremated following the funeral service.

Carl Brint Morrison,73, of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in the United Hospital Center. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 23, 1943, a son of the late Lewis and Mary Browning Morrison.

 

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Puckett Morrison.

 

Also surviving are four children; Donna Jean Sawtelle and her husband Robert of Deer Park, WA, Richard Carl Morrison and his wife Christine of Lusby, MD, Terri Lynn Morrison and her companion Bucky of Bridgeport, and Sherri Ann Robinson and her husband Robert of Hughesville, MD; six grandchildren, Tara Jean Flores, Nikki Lynn Madison, Travis Carter Blades, Richard Michael Morrison, Nicholas Allen Morrison and Luke Raymond Allen; six great grandchildren, Sebastian “Michael” Flores, Hayden Flores, Alina Allen, Keaton Allen, Addison Blades, and Susan Blades; 12 brothers and sisters, Raymond Morrison and his wife Annette of Florida, Sylvia Goodwin and her husband Sherman of WV, Maxine Harris and her husband Boyd of Ohio, Mary Jo Falls and her husband Gary of Apple Valley, CA, Kathleen McCulley and her husband Jim of VA, Brenda Westfall of WV, Denise Skidmore and her husband Bob of NC, Tommy Morrison of OH, Donna Jaggie of OH, Gary Morrison and his wife Annette of German, and Linda Tenney and her husband Toby of Buckhannon, and Jody Kress and his wife Anita of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lewis and Richard Morrison.

 

Mr. Morrison was a retired District of Columbia employee with 29 years of service as a Supervisor for water operations, and was a part time drug and alcohol counselor for Calvert County, MD. He was also a member of the Deleware Antique Police Car Association and the Emergency Vehicle Owners of America, Spokane, WA.
