Carmella Rose Fugo Sirianni, age 90, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2017, at the United Hospital Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on December 4, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Passantino Fugo.

Her husband of 42 years, James V. Sirianni, preceded her in death on May 22, 2000.

Carmella is survived by her brother, Jimmy Fugo and his wife Eva Joan of Bridgeport, WV; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Sirianni was preceded in death by six brothers, Sam Fugo, Louis Fugo, Floyd Fugo, Julius Joe Fugo, George Fugo and Tony Fugo; and two sisters, Annie Malone and Mary Lehosit.

Carmella retired from Eagle Glass and worked as a telephone and elevator operator at the Harrison County Court House with 13 years of service.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Clarksburg 334, Sons of Italy, Ladies of the Moose, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and the Broadway Girls.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 to conclude the visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Immaculate Conception Forward In Faith, 150 S. Maple Avenue, Clarksburg, WV 26301.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 126 E. Pike Street, Clarksburg, on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Casey Mahone as Celebrant.

Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
