Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, where a prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm to conclude the visitation.    A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Reverend Father Kent Durig as Celebrant.    Interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery.

Charles James Hall, 75, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at his residence following a  brief illness.  He was born in Tucson, AZ on February 15, 1942, a son of the late Charles Manley Hall and Mary Burgess Hall Bosley.  

 

Twice married he is survived by his first wife, Mary Belle Gerrard; and also by his second wife of 38 years, Carolyn Waybright Helmick Hall who resides at their home in Clarksburg.

 

Also surviving are five sons, Billy E. Hall and his fiancé, Susan of North Carolina, Thomas M. Hall and his wife Hope of Bristol, TN, Steven L. Hall and his wife Natalie of Bridgeport, Christopher L. Hall of Clarksburg, and Carl A. Hall and his wife Elizabeth of Clarksburg; one daughter, Sherri D. Goodwin and her husband Wayne of Bridgeport; 18 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon Skoloski and Debbie Cox; and one brother, Ronald Hall.

 

He is also preceded in death by one son, Charles J. Hall; one brother, Carl Bosley, and his step-father, Okey Bosley.

 

Mr. Hall was a retired automobile salesman having worked at Harry Green Chevrolet and Al Schroath Oldsmobile Company and was the owner of Car Villa Auto Sales.  He also worked at Hall’s Body Shop and Pittsburgh Plate Glass.  Mr. Hall enjoyed hunting, fishing riding 4-wheelers, attending auto auctions and watching the horse races.
