Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.  The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Rodney Heckert presiding.   Interment will follow in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Charles Lee “Charlie Brown” Rogers, 65, of Mt. Clare, WV, passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at the United Hospital Center.

 

He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on January 4, 1953, a son of the late Mary Elizabeth Eavenson Rogers and Ronald H. Rogers of Mt. Clare.

 

He is survived by his loving wife Dorena Jan Carlin Rogers, who resides at their home in Mt. Clare; one son, Shane Lee Rogers and wife Ashley of Mt. Clare; two brothers, Robin H. Rogers and Rodney H. Rogers, both of Mt. Clare; and one sister, Rebecca D. Down and husband Tom of Sardis; as well as several nieces and nephews.

 

Charlie was a graduate of South Harrison High School Class of 1971. Charlie joined Sheet Metal Workers Local Union #33 on December 24, 1980.  He retired January 1, 2014 and had a 38-year membership as a journeyman. Charlie was well-respected in the sheet metal trade for his skills and abilities.  He was passionate about his job, and will be missed by all.

 

He was Methodist by faith and enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends at Franklin’s.

 

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, December 26, 2018, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon.  The service will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 12:00 Noon with Reverend Rodney Heckert presiding.

 

Interment will follow in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.
