Chase Howard Randolph Oliver, 20, of Clarksburg, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was born in Morgantown on November 25, 1997, a son of Garry R. Oliver of Albuquerque, NM, and Ziva A. Sims of Clarksburg.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Shelba J. Limer.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Tyler Sims of Clarksburg and her son Gabriel Morrocon, and Athena Oliver; one brother, Jewed Oliver; his long time devoted girlfriend, Tyaira Horton; his maternal grandfather, Sonney Sims of Los Angeles, CA; several aunts and uncles, including Anthony Limer and his wife Marilyn, Renee Billings, Toxanna Sims, and Samantha Sims; a host of cousins, including Bianca Billings, Devin Stanford, Chloe Long, Tomari Limer, Bryan Bledsoe, Christopher Bledsoe, Chrystal Bledsoe, Ayden Billings, Kingston Powell; his long time friend and mentor, Raymond Cox; and his step father, Claude Jimmie Drew.

 

 

Chase attended Robert C. Byrd High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing basketball, cooking, listening to and writing music, was a former boy scout, and was on the Hayst Swim Team.

 

In keeping with his request, Chase was cremated.
