To the Matheny family, my sincerest thoughts and prayers are with you. My parents, "Doc" and Jeanne Wilson were good friends of Don and Clara Jean's and I have many fond memories of them growing up. We lived down the street from your Grandparents, Don and Alvie, before moving to Maryland later on. Though my mother has passed, my father is still w ith us and doing amazing (94 years young). I saw this obituary when I was reading one for my own Uncle, Jack Emrick, and was very saddened to see this news. Wishing you peace .

Rick and David: I’m thinking about you and remembering those two mischievous little boys that I grew up with. So many good memories. And your Mom, such a sweet lady and so proud of her boys. I know you will always miss her but you will find that she will never really leave you. I pray you will have peace and feel how much God loves you through this. Love you both.

Rick, Dave and family, I am truly sorry for the loss of your mother. I know I had just met you and your mother at Clarksburg Continuous Care, and had been keeping your family in my prayers. I felt the love you had for your mother, and I'm sure she knew she was and is surrounded by love.
