Clarence Jackson “Jack” Swiger, 91, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Meadowview Manor in Bridgeport, WV.

He was born in Clarksburg, WV on May 27, 1928, the son of the late Aubrey Levi and Ada Goodwin Swiger.

Mr. Swiger was predeceased by the love of his life, Angela DeLapa Swiger in 2009.

Mr. Swiger is survived by his sisters-in-law, Anne Pinti and Paula Julian and his brother-in-law, Jim DeLapa and his wife, Judy, as well as many nieces and nephews, his half-brothers and half-sisters, and many special friends including a special care taker, Barb Elliott, who was with him when he passed.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Jack was preceded in death by three brothers, George Swiger, Denny Swiger, and Joe Swiger and two sisters, Thelma Swiger and Charlene Stadine, as well as many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Mr. Swiger was a retired welder and was a member of Pipeliner’s Union Local 798. He was a member of the Herman Lodge #6 AF&AM, and a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason. He also was a member of the Nemesis Shrine Temple of Parkersburg, WV.

Per his request no services will be held.
