Cleora Gay Davisson, 95, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in a local nursing home.
She was born in Sistersville on November 14, 1923, a daughter of the late John Cecil and Cedona Gay Elliott McClung.
She was married to Wade A. Davisson, who preceded her in death on December 26, 1973.
Surviving are one son, Harold R. “Hal” Davisson and his wife Debbie of Bristol; one daughter, Wilma Jean Davisson and her husband Roger of West Milford; six grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Davisson was a homemaker and Methodist by faith.
There will be no public visitation.
A private graveside service will be held.
