Dear Shirley & family, So sorry to hear Corles passed away. Hope he knew how much I loved my cousin although we never got to see him much after we grew older. I’ll always remember how he told the Greyhound bus drivers to keep an eye on me & Shari every weekend when we went to visit Mom. And to watch those two weren’t smoking in the back of the bus? I always loved you guys so much. Always felt you were my second parents. May God grant him eternal rest and may the Angels lead him into Paradise ??? Love, John & Karen

Dear Shirley and Family, I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your husband, Corles. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We both had long marriages with wonderful husbands. I hope to see you soon at the beauty shop. Dianna keeps me up-to-date. My husband, Bunie, and your husband, Corles, were definitely extraordinary men, given their unique names! God Bless You, Shirley. Fondly, Evelyn

Shirley, Charmaine, Yandel and family, I just learned that Corles passed. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. Corles was of the best friends that I ever had. He was like a second father to me. From the time I was twelve years old we were inseparable fishing partners. He took me to Franklin, W.V. for my very first time and I'm living here now because. We went on hundreds of fishing trips together and had thousands of laughs and good times together. I still think of him everyday and the fun times we shared. I loved him very much and even though he is gone now he will always be in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all through this very difficult time. Donnie Kopp

Dear Shirley, Charmaine, Yandel and family. I just this minute read that Corles has passed. He was one of the very best friends that I have ever had in my life. Corles was like a second father to me and he started teaching me how to trout fish when I was twelve years old. He brought me to Franklin, W.V. when I was that age and that is where I am lucky enough to be living now. Corles and I traveled all over the eastern part of W.V. on hundreds and hundreds of fishing trips over the years. We had a wonderful time together and he told me not so long ago that those were some of the best times that he ever had. I know that for me they were wonderful and there is not a day that goes by that I don't think of the times, and the laughs, that we shared. Corles was a wonderful man and I loved him very much. He will be sadly missed but he will never be forgotten, he was one of a kind. Rest in peace my friend. Donnie Kopp
