Daniel Frank Mancuso, 79, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, in the home his father built.

He was born in Clarksburg, WV, on August 25, 1945, a son of the late Sam and Mary Walters Mancuso.

Daniel was wed to Sandra Hawkins Mancuso, his high school sweetheart, on October 29, 1966, who continues to reside at their family home.

Also surviving are his daughters, Lori Mehrtens and husband Bryan of Avon, IN, and Juli Whitescarver and husband Rick of Mt. Clare; his grandchildren, Brady Mehrtens, Mary Mehrtens, Emily Whitescarver, and Zoe Whitescarver; and his uncle Paul Mancuso of Clarksburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his sister, Rosemary Catherine Mancuso.

Mr. Mancuso was a graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School Class of 1963, and the owner of Jerry’s Auto, having retired in 2010.

Danny loved his family and was a devout and committed husband, father, and grandfather. He loved growing fresh vegetables and spending time on the deck with his wife watching them grow. Danny spent his winter feeding the birds, spoiling his grandchildren and grand dog, and looked forward to his annual beach trip. He loved knowing what was happening in the community and read the daily paper in detail. He did not know a stranger and will be sadly missed by all.
