Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, from 2:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 am with Reverend Robert Bright, Pastor Frenchie Swiger and Pastor Leonard Madia officiating.   Interment will be in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Danny Wayne Pumphrey, Jr., 27, of Clarksburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital. He was born on January 8, 1990, a son of Danny Wayne, Sr. and Crystal Ferrell Pumphrey.

 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Meagan Kiser; four sons, Cavin Wayne Pumphrey, Wyatt Ethan James Pumphrey, Gabriel Lee Pumphrey, and Lincoln Grey Pumphrey; one daughter, Emma Elizabeth Pumphrey; three step children. Brayden, Bailey and Brynlee Helmick; two brothers, David Pumphrey and his fiancé Cassie Newlon of Clarksburg, and Joseph Patrick Pumphrey of Clarksburg; one nephew, Hudson Nash Pumphrey; paternal grandmother, Anna Pumphrey Hickman; several aunts and uncles; and several close friends whom he considered family.

 

 

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joy B. Pumphrey; his maternal grandparents, Patty and Orvel Ferrell; and one niece, Arabella Pumphrey.

 

Danny was a 2009 graduate of RCB High School and was a route driver for UniFirst Corp.
