Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 11:00 am with Reverend Brian Plum officiating. Interment will be in the Bridgeport Cemetery.

David Lynn Carlin, 69, of Lexington Kentucky, formerly of West Milford, passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was born in Clarksburg on September 25, 1948, a son of the late Brenton Carlin and Chessie “Chet” Gregory Roupe.
He is survived by his wife, Alwona Carlin, whom he married November 29, 1972. Also surviving are one son, David Lynn “JR” Carlin, II of Lexington, KY; one daughter, Erin Lea Raines and her husband Brian of Lexington, KY; and four grandchildren, Haley and Brinton Raines, Braxten Carlin and Quinton Storner.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, John Carlin and Don Carlin; and one sister, Sheila Carlin.
David was a 1966 graduate of South Harrison High School, and was a retired compiler with Photo Science Inc. He loved hunting and fishing, and loved growing up on the farm.
