Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, September 27, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, where funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm with Reverend Karen Richards and Pastor Richard Gibson officiating. Interment will be in the Big Isaac’s Cemetery in Doddridge County. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Kid’s Ministry at the Salem Church of God, 119 State Street, Salem, WV 26426.

Debra Kay “Debbie” Clevenger, 66, of Clarksburg was called to her heavenly home on Monday, September 23, 2024.
She was born in Clarksburg on October 17, 1957, a daughter of the late Blair and Wilma Price Clevenger and her stepfather, the late Ray Cordray.
She is survived by her brother, Junior Clevenger of Oregon, a sister, Ileta Swallop of Garner, NC; and a nephew of North Carolina; two stepsisters, Rhonda and Kim of Virginia; a niece; and several cousins and special friends. She was also preceded in death by a nephew, Jamie Payne.
Debbie was a 1975 graduate of Liberty High School and a 1989 graduate of Salem College where she earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and marketing and her associate’s degree in business management. She was a member of the Salem Church of God, having taught Sunday school classes and helped with the Ladies’ Ministry. She also had worked for Working Man’s Store in Clarksburg and Farmer Dot’s in Sun Valley. Debbie had a good heart and tried to help anyone who needed it and loved collecting angels and eagles.
