I remember the day my son Mitchell was in kindergarten in Mrs. Kiesling and Mrs. Anderson's class. I was called to pick him up because he was throwing up, probably because his lunch food touched together, and as I walk in the class, Mrs. Anderson was sitting on the floor with my sleeping son in her arms rocking him. I will never forget her and her kindness. I made it a point to talk to her as much as I could through her retirement. She was a wonderful and loving woman.

I have only fond memories of the time I spent with Jean and her family while growing up in Summit Park. She and Doug were so good to me, and they always welcomed me in there home like I was one of their kids. She made the best spaghetti ever, and I can still visualize her making bread and fried bread in her kitchen. She worshipped Doug, her boys, and Kim. Big things come in small packages and Jean had a huge heart, compassion for others, and she had a courageous spirit in everything she did. She helped shape my life and I will always be thankful for her! My deepest sympathy to her family.
