Diana Lynn Bennett Barnett, 64, of Clarksburg, WV, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at her residence.

She was born in Clarksburg, WV, on July 5, 1960, a daughter of the late Harry L. and Deloris Faye Newell Bennett.

Diana was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Daniel J. Barnett, III on August 23, 2020.

Mrs. Barnett is survived by her son, Zachary Barnett and wife Molly of Clarksburg; and her daughter, Brogan Barnett of Shinnston.  She was grandmother to 11 grandchildren, Deegan Barnett, Titan Boyce, Quinn Boyce, Delilah Barnett, Daxton Barnett, Dekker Barnett, Kaleb Mace, Grayson Butcher, Maddie Butcher, Kourtney Yambrick, and Kailie Barnett; one great grandson, Princeton Matura, two great granddaughters, Sereniti Hardy, and Azariah Bunnell.  She also leaves behind two brothers, Gary L. Bennett of Charleston, WV, and Dennis W. Bennett and wife Alison of Salem, VA; two sisters, Doris J. Golden and husband Richard of Anmoore, WV, and Kellie Orange and husband Philip of Huddleston, VA; two aunts, Penny Drummond of Clearwater, FL and Jean Newell Smith of Clarksburg, WV; and two uncles, Roy Bennett of Ohio, and Robert Bennett of Ohio, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Barnett.

Diana was a Paralegal Secretary for Steptoe and Johnson.  She loved reading and walking, but above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Honoring her wishes, Mrs. Barnett will be cremated.
