Don was a fine man and an asset to our community. I got to know him on our W.I. Alumni Foundation Board and really enjoyed talking with him and Diane.

Diane, Jeff, Pam, Shahn, and Family, So sorry to learn of Don’s passing. He touched so many lives and brought his humor and positivity to everything. There are enough stories about fishing, camping, basketball, and every other subject to be retold for the rest of all our lives. It’s impossible to drive past a stream anywhere and not hear Don say “that looks like some really nice trout water”. Cherish the memories, because there are many.

Dear Dianne, I am truly so very, very sorry to hear about Donnie! He has always been one of the good guys - always so friendly to everyone! Tommy and I really enjoyed being around both of you and treasured our good times with the two of you. He will be greatly missed! You and your family have my very deepest sympathy. My heart aches for you, and you shall remain in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry that I am out of town and, therefore, unable to extend my condolences to you in person. I will hope to see you before too long. Thinking of you with love and heartfelt best wishes. Marilyn

Dear Diane, Mickey and I just wanted to express our condolences. We had not heard about Donnie till someoone posted it on the telephone company site on facebook today. I know you have been married many years and worked together and this will be a difficult time. If there is anything we can do, please let us know. And we do mean that. I remember working with Donnie at the phone company before I knew you. He was a good man and will be remembered by many, I am sure. Sincerely, Mickey & Libby Valentine

RIP Donnie. With deepest sympathy to the family. I remember visiting Donnie growing up when I would go visit Aunt Ree and Nan. I will never forget Donnie frying potatoes in a HUGE cast iron skillet after Nans funeral when the whole family was together. I believe that was the last time I saw him. Again with deepest sympathy and fond memories never to be forgotten. Deb Rotonda
