Dora Petitto passed away at home surrounded by family on Friday, September 9, 2016.
She was born December 13, 1925 in Mount Clare, WV, a daughter of the late Charles and Anna Turkay Plivelich.
Mrs. Petitto was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Petitto, Jr., whom she married on June 28th, 1947.
Surviving are lifelong friend Susan Randall, three sons, Charles and companion, Rennah of West Milford, Chris and Jeannine of Stonewood, Michael and Karen of West Milford; six grandchildren, Aaron, Sarah, Annie, Maggie, Timothy and Jennifer and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Petitto was preceded in death by three brothers, Albert, Carl, and Willie Plivelich, and two sisters, Anne Hoss and Marion Mastrean.
Mrs. Petitto spent her life making a home for her family at the Hide-A-Way. She was catholic by faith.
A graveside service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Casey Mahone presiding.
