I did not personally know this precious lady, but to read about her, I felt that had been one of the children at her feet. I am the Pastor of Karen Butcher (granddaughter). We as a church body extend our prayers and thoughts to you at this time of her home going. My mother is 92 and she always said; When the Lord calls me home, let everyone know, \" I\'ve had a Wonderful Life\" and I sure she felt the same. God Bless you all. She truly lived a life that should be written in a Novel. Though she is gone in body, she certainly will be remembered in her children, grandchildren, & great grandchildren. All the awesome characteristics she possessed down through the years can be seen in many of the family members. I know she will be missed, but memories will be shared about her for a long time to come. God bless each and everyone who have been blessed by her life. Our prayers are with you through the days ahead. Alan & Judy, friends of Carolyn & family.

Mrs. Butcher was definitely a Mother figure to me. She exemplified Jesus to me with her love and kindness in times when I never knew Christ. I know of no other person who showed her love to others as she did. She always greeted me with the warmest hug and most pleasant smile. Our conversations were always encouraging. It took me many years to open the door of my heart and let Jesus in. I am grateful for the Grace and Mercy shown to me from our Father in Heaven. I encourage all who want to see Grandma Butcher again to open the door and let Christ into your heart. He said to each one of us, "I stand at the door and knock". Is He knocking on you heart right now? Let Him in and you will not only see Grandma Butcher, you will see Jesus face to face as you enter Heaven's gate. Your life's journey on the earth will change. Jesus promised a Counselor and that Counselor is The Holy Spirit. He will guide you thru the Word of Truth. The Truth will set you free and you can have everlasting life: eternal life with Christ and all your loved ones who believe in Him. Peace to all at this time. Rest assured, Grandma Butcher is rejoicing with Christ and His Angels.
