Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, where funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm with Dave Webb presiding. Interment will be in the Stonewall Park Cemetery.

Edward Lloyd “Eddie” Blake, 57, of Stonewood, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was born in Clarksburg on February 28, 1960, a son of the late Vaughan and Jacqueline Sears Blake.
He is survived by his wife, Carol J. Keller Blake, whom he married on June 6, 1992; one son, Edward Lloyd Blake, II; two step sons, Darren D. Bell and his wife Jeanette of Pennsylvania, and John S. Bell of Nutter Fort; two step daughters, Mendy Dick of Fairmont, and Billee Bell and her boyfriend Brian Livingston of Clarksburg; three brothers, Michael Blake of Belington, James Blake and his wife Kim of Wallace, and Randy Blake and his wife Barbara of Clarksburg; three sisters, Joyce Thompson of Ohio, Vickie Amos and her husband Kevin of Wyoming, and Andrea McCullough and her husband Brian of Anmoore; several step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by one infant brother, George Allen Blake.
Mr. Blake was a construction laborer and held several previous jobs, but was currently employed with Capitol Doors in Fairmont. He loved hunting and fishing, and loved his buddy dogs, Curtis, Oscar, Teddy and Bonnie.
