Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street Nutter Fort, on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. The funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor George Masto presiding. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.

Elba K. Bee, 93, of Clarksburg, passed away on April 23, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital, following an extended illness.

She was born in Bristol, WV, on February 25, 1924, a daughter of the late Harvey W. and Sarah Perine Fletcher.

Her husband, Guy W. Bee, preceded her in death in 1967.

Mrs. Bee is survived by one son, Gene W. “Bill” Bee and his wife Linda of Clarksburg; one daughter, Sara Bee Riggs and husband Gary Riggs of Bellefonte, PA; one daughter-in-law, Jessica Bord Bee of Grafton, WV; seven grandchildren, Gregory Bee, Philip Riggs, Justin Riggs, Kristien Thomas, Kathy Salisbury, Nile Bee and David Burch; 12 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Nile Bee; three brothers and three sisters.

Elba was a retired Registered Nurse from the Louis A. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital with 31 years of service.

Elba was in the Nurse Cadet Corp from 1943 to 1946. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Alumni Nurses Association and the Retired National Association of Federal Employees.

She attended Word of Life Assembly of God in Sun Valley.

Interment will follow in the Greenlawn Masonic Cemetery.
