Friends and family may call at the All Saints Catholic Church, 317 East Main Street, Bridgeport, on Tuesday, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. There will be a Vigil Service at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon John Yaquinta to conclude the visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Father Hilarion Cann and Reverend Father Chris Turner as concelebrants. Interment will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Catholic Church, 317 East Main Street, Bridgeport, WV 26330.

Eleanor L. Mazzie Williams, 80, of Worthington Place, Bridgeport, WV, passed from this life at her home on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

She was born on April 5, 1938, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Sam and Jeanette Moscar Mazzie.

Eleanor was among the first graduating class of Notre Dame High School in 1956.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 19 years, Danny M. Williams.  Also preceding her in death were two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Mazzie, Kathleen Jean Mazzie, and her brother-in-law, Donald
C. Duke.

Eleanor is survived by one sister, Rose Virginia “Gina” Duke of Bridgeport; and one brother, John E. Mazzie and his wife Sandy of Flemington, WV.  Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews with whom she was very close and loved.  Her three nieces, Donna Duke Caroli, Melinda Duke Lindsey, and Mary Jo Duke Lanzy willingly assisted in caring for her daily.

She was a city clerk at the City of Kingwood and retired in 2000.  She returned back to Bridgeport, and then was employed at Matz Equipment. She then held the position of Property Manager for Worthington Place Condos.

She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
