Obituaries

Eric “Scott” Williams, 53, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in the Ruby Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.

He was born in Clarksburg on April 1, 1966, a son of the late William B. Williams and Kathryn Elizabeth Brooks Williams who survives in Clarksburg and with whom he made his home.
Surviving are one step-son whom he loved as his own, Vincent Thomas Esworthy; one brother, Bruce A. Williams and his wife Kimberly of Stonewood; and two nephews, Brock and Briar Williams.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Sheri Beth Williams.

Mr. Williams was a 1984 graduate of Roosevelt Wilson High School and was formerly a Courier Supervisor for Lowndes Bank before becoming disabled. He was also a motorcycle safety instructor, and loved his dogs Molly and Max. Scott had attended the Congressional Missionary Church and the Church of the Nazarene.

Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 am with Reverend Sherman Goodwin and Reverend Richard Settles officiating. Interment will be in the Coplin Cemetery.
