Family and friends may call at the Amos Carvelli Funeral Home, 201 Edison Street, Nutter Fort on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 12:00 to 8:00 pm.In keeping with his wishes, “Porker” will be cremated following the visitation.The family will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, December 14, 2019 from 1:00 to 6:00 pm at the Bel Meadows Country Club. ALL ARE WELCOME.

George Edward “Porker” Morrison, Jr., 65, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his residence following a brief illness surrounded by his family and friends.

 

He was born in Clarksburg on March 1, 1954, a son of the late George Edward Morrison, Sr. and Jean Nevada Mayfield Morrison.

 

Surviving are one son, George Edward “Trey” Morrison, III and his wife Tara of West Milford; one daughter, Britani Jo Edwards and her husband James of Mt. Clare; two grandchildren, Addyson Grace Edwards and Kellan James Edwards as well as one grandson, “Buddy” on the way; one brother, Tom “TBird” Morrison of Muttontown; and three sister, Irma Phillips and her husband Ed of West Milford, Gay Godwin and her husband Curt of Buckhannon, and Diane Morrison George and her husband Ron of West Milford; and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one sister, Georgia Morgan.

 

Mr. Morrison was a retired equipment operator with J. F. Allen Corporation and was Methodist by faith.

 

“Porker” loved hunting, being outdoors and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding Harleys, Hot Rods, building cars and going to car shows.
