Harlan Carter Hayes was born on January 28th of 2022 and went to be with our heavenly father on January 28th of 2022. Although his time with our family was short, the joy and love he brought to our family will last a lifetime. Heaven gained a beautiful, precious angel when baby Harlan received his wings.

He is survived by his parents Quinetta and Austin Hayes, and his fur brothers and sisters, Kota, Buddy, Kash and Jolene. Paternal grandparents Jon and Heidi Hayes, maternal grandparents, Russell Murphy Jr. and Raycheal Henderson, Denise Dobbins and Blaine Greynolds, great-grandparents Russell Sr. and Nancy Murphy, Donna and Michael Dobbins, Edward Clevenger, and great-great-grandmother Joann Dobbins, aunt and uncles Danielle Murphy, Zachary Hayes, Donald Morris, Russell Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Braiden Hayes, Olivia Brown, and special cousins McKenna and Brody Murphy and Logan Dotson. Along with many extended family and friends who loved him very much.

He was preceded in death by paternal great-grandparents Thurman Harlan “Friday” and Virginia Hayes, and Harold and Betty Earnest.

Family and friends may call at the Reynoldsville Baptist Church, 3043 Wilsonburg Road, Reynoldsville, WV, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, from 12:30pm to 1:00pm where a service will be held at 1:00pm with Reverend Jon Hayes presiding. A private interment will follow.
